Holly dentist will instruct you on how to wear your trays, but typically they are worn for one or two hours every day for 2-3 weeks, possibly longer for stubborn teeth stains.

The Invisalign Treatment Process

Dr. Julie Ko-Kim is the certified Invisalign provider at Mt. Holly Family Dentistry. At your first meeting with her, she will evaluate your smile and determine if there are any oral health concerns to address before beginning Invisalign orthodontic treatment. We’ll take x-rays, photographs and impressions of your teeth that Invisalign will use to create a 3-D image of your existing smile. Dr. Ko-Kim will then develop a treatment plan based on this image. This image will show you how your Invisalign treatment will progress and will also be the road map that the Invisalign lab uses to fabricate your aligners.

The Invisalign aligners come in a series of sets. You’ll wear each set for about two weeks, watching your teeth move as you progress through the series. In about a year, treatment will be completed and you’ll have that straighter, more attractive smile.
