Some Notes of Caution

Holly Dentistry as soon as possible. An avulsed tooth has a better chance of survival if reimplanted within one hour of injury. If you cannot hold it in the socket, place it between cheek and gums or in a plastic container with milk or over the counter tooth preservative.

Also, when a tooth is chipped or cracked, save the pieces and bring them to the office. Transport them as you would an avulsed tooth.
